In 1998, Establecimientos Romet became the first auto parts supplier in the country to design and develop an assembly line within a terminal.
Towards 2001, despite the great economic crisis that hit the country, the company took one of the most significant decisions in its history by expanding its product line and inaugurating the welding plant that same year, thus allowing it to make assemblies. assembled and welded. This is how Romet, through diverse and complementary processes, manages to offer the industry a complete range of products.
The trust and support of our clients has allowed us to continue to experience growth, and in 2011, we moved our assembly and welding lines to a new plant located in Benavidez, which has all the necessary technology to continue producing with the highest standards. of quality and grants us a strategic location achieving greater competitiveness in the market.

At present we are one of the main Argentine suppliers of OEM auto parts, developing locally 99% of the components that make up the products we sell.

Plant 1: Benavidez
It has 7,500m² covered, in it are the assembly lines and welding of assemblies. From there the dispatch to our clients is carried out.
Plant 2: José León Suárez
It has 3,500m² covered and in it all products and components are stamped. It has more than 30 presses and rockers, with a capacity of up to 800tn.
Plant 3: José León Suárez
There is the die with 500m² covered, it is where all the tools of our pieces are designed and developed.
